Tell Trump: keep your promise and lower my prescription drug costs!

House Democrats are on the cusp of passing the Elijah E. Cummings Lower Drug Costs Now Act of 2019, which would lower prescription drug costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate prices with drug companies. Doing so could reduce costs on insulin and other life-saving prescription drugs by upwards of 55 percent.

President Trump promised to lower prescription drug costs during his 2016 campaign, and supported letting Medicare negotiate prices with big Pharma in the past.

Democrats are keeping their word, but President Trump is breaking his. After three years of broken promises, and his refusal to support common sense cost-saving proposals like this, it’s clear that the president does not stand with our seniors -- or anyone else who relies on prescription drugs.
